Our verdict

Reasonable scope for an all-in-one apartment kit, but unproven — check the drill specs and the return window before committing.

A 259-piece count with a cordless drill for $119.99 reads like a lot of tool, so it's worth decoding how the DESOON 259-Piece Tool Set's math works: in any kit this size, the count is mostly consumables — driver bits, sockets and fasteners — wrapped around a core of a couple dozen actual hand tools plus the drill. DESOON is a newer Amazon storefront brand (its seller page also carries DEKOPRO-branded kits), and as of July 2026 we found no independent reviews of this exact set from any source we could verify. That leaves the buying decision on fundamentals you can check on the live listing: the drill's voltage and battery type, whether spare batteries are sold, and the case quality. Judge it as a furniture-assembly and picture-hanging kit, not a workshop foundation.

Frequently asked questions

Are 259 pieces really 259 tools?

No — large kit counts are padded by bits, sockets and fasteners. Expect a core of everyday hand tools plus the drill, with accessories making up most of the number.

Is DESOON an established brand?

It's a newer Amazon marketplace brand; we found no independent reviews of this set as of July 2026. Its storefront also sells DEKOPRO kits, another marketplace tool label.

What matters most in a drill tool kit?

The drill itself: voltage, battery capacity, charge time and whether replacement batteries are available. The hand tools in these kits are broadly similar — the drill decides how useful the set stays.
