Amazon Basics All-Weather Car Floor Mats

Deep-ribbed rubber catches slush, mud and spills before they reach your carpet — trim with scissors for a closer fit.

  • Ribbed channels trap water, mud and road salt off the carpet.
  • Molded trim lines let you cut each mat to your footwell.
  • Hose off and drip dry — no carpet shampooing.

Amazon Basics' All-Weather Floor Mats use the oldest trick in the category: a universal blank with molded trim lines you cut down with scissors or a utility knife to match your footwell. That puts the fit in your hands — ten careful minutes with the mat sitting in place gets you close to custom coverage, while a rushed cut can't be undone. The deep-ribbed rubber surface is the point: slush, mud and spilled coffee sit in the channels instead of soaking into carpet, and the mats hose off clean. At about $25 a set they cost a fraction of laser-measured liners like WeatherTech; the honest difference is edge coverage — trimmed flat mats protect the floor, not the walls of the footwell.

Frequently asked questions

Will these mats fit my car?

They're universal blanks with molded trim lines — you cut them to your footwell with scissors or a utility knife. Fit accuracy depends on how carefully you trim, and a cut can't be undone.

How do they compare to WeatherTech-style liners?

Laser-measured liners wrap up the footwell walls and fit exactly, but cost several times more. These are flat, trimmable mats: they protect the carpet under your feet, not the sides.

How do you clean them?

Pull them out and hose them off — the ribbed rubber channels rinse clean and dry quickly, with no carpet to shampoo.
