The fine print matters, though. MaxLife is sold as "suitable for use" against dozens of specs — it is not OEM-licensed fluid, which can complicate warranty claims on newer vehicles. And despite the multi-vehicle name, it is not intended for most CVTs or dual-clutch transmissions, which need their own dedicated fluids.
