AIDEA's microfiber cloths compete on arithmetic: this 50-pack works out to roughly 32 cents per cloth, cheap enough to treat them as semi-disposable for greasy engine-bay jobs or brake-dust cleanup that would ruin a premium towel. Each cloth measures 12 by 12 inches — noticeably smaller than the 16-by-16 towels most car detailers standardize on — so they suit dashboards, door jambs, glass and kitchen duty better than drying a whole vehicle. AIDEA markets them as lint-free and streak-free; as with any bulk microfiber, washing them before first use and skipping fabric softener (it clogs the fibers) is what actually keeps them that way. For a mixed car-and-household cleaning stash, the per-cloth price is the argument.
Frequently asked questions
Are AIDEA microfiber cloths safe for car paint?
Microfiber in this class is generally paint-safe when clean. Wash the cloths before first use and retire any cloth that hits the ground — trapped grit, not the fabric itself, is what scratches.
How should I wash microfiber cloths?
Machine-wash warm with liquid detergent, no fabric softener and no dryer sheets — softener coats the fibers and kills absorbency. Air dry or tumble on low.
What size are these cloths?
Each cloth is 12 x 12 inches — a general-purpose size for interiors, glass and kitchen use. Dedicated car-drying towels are typically larger, around 16 x 16 inches or more.
